Dear Friends:

As 2007 approaches, the staff and board of directors for the Juvenile Justice Fund (JJF) are actively engaged in strategic planning for a new and successful year.  For me, the most exciting new change will be my service as the incoming Executive Director.  I am pleased to serve such a committed board of directors and lead such a talented staff of professionals.  I also look forward to partnering with the Fulton County Juvenile Court to increase  services and assistance for those children and families in need.

My service at JJF began on November 15, 2006. My past experience includes 13 years as the founding executive directors of two non-profit organizations;  the Washington, D.C. Children's Advocacy Center and the Fulton County Children's Advocacy Center.  Having earned a B.A. in Elementary Education and a J.D. to practice family and juvenile law, I hope to bring a wealth of knowledge to JJF in both areas of non-profit management and best practice in the fields of child welfare and juvenile justice.

As this year comes to an end, JJF is asking for your help in supporting our Family Visitation Project.  Detailed letters of request will be mailed to all JJF friends and family during the week of December 18th.  Please respond by completing the pledge card that you receive in the mail, or contact us for additional information at 404-224-4415 or via email at Alison.Wong@fultoncountyga.gov

From all of us at JJF, best wishes for a warm and peaceful holiday season and a Happy New Year!

Kimberley Borna
